Are you wanting to explore the more advanced motion graphics capabilities of Adobe's After Effects? This 4 hour course, with Adobe certified After Effects CC instructor Andy Day, will take you into the deeper functionality of Adobe After effects for creating motion graphics to your videos.
What You Will Learn
This is a 4 hour online LIVE workshop which will take you though After Effects in a clear and simple way. You'll learn how to get the best from using After Effects with Premiere Pro, broken down into the 4 sections shown below . It's an interactive class so you can ask questions just like a real classroom.
1 . Working with After Effects from Premiere Pro
This 1st part of the course will cover all the essential keyboard shortcuts and workflows within After Effects. Comparing the terminology with Premiere Pro along the way to make it easier to navigate and get the results you want faster.
2. Creating text animations
In Part 2 we'll be covering how to use the After Effects Text animation Presets and modify them to create your own distinctive style.
3. Using Effects and Tools
In Part 3 we'll use the creative effects and tools within After Effects, so you can create a unique stylised look to all your graphics. This is where you can express your creativity and strongly influence the effect your video has on the viewer.
4. Creating and Editing Graphics Templates
In the final part 4 we'll cover how to create templates from your Motion designs which can be used directly in Premiere Pro's Essential Graphics Panel.
1. Working with After Effects
There's quite a difference in the way After Effects works compared to Premiere Pro, so in this session we'll make sure you know how to navigate After Effects like a pro. Including essential keyboard shortcuts
2. Creating Text Animations
We'll cover how to use the text animation presets, how to edit them and save your own. Giving you a unique palette of text animations. I'll also breakdown the text animation engine of After Effects by reverse engineering a preset, so you'll have all the geeky details too.
3. Creation tools and Effects
Next we'll dive into the creation tools within After Effects and how we can import graphics from Photoshop or Illustrator and quickly animate them. We'll also have a quick tour of the Effects that we can utilise for motion graphics.
4. Creating and editing Graphics Templates
Finally we'll go through the workflows for creating templates which can be used in the Essential Graphics panel in Premiere Pro.
Questions and Answers
During the Live session there will be time for questions plus each section of the recordings will have their own comments section where you can get your questions answered at any time after the live workshop.
