The Advanced Premiere Pro Guide to Colour Grading

Are you wanting to explore the more advanced side of Adobe's Premiere Pro? This 3 hour course, with Adobe certified Premiere Pro CC instructor Andy Day, will take you into the deeper functionality of Adobe Premiere Pro for Grading your videos.

What You Will Learn

This is a 3 hour online LIVE workshop which will take you though the entire Colour Correction and Grading process in Premiere Pro in the following 3 steps. It's an interactive class so you can ask questions just like a real classroom.

1 . Colourists Jargon

This 1st part of the course will cover all the terminology and tools use to perform corrections to our footage. You'll gain all the background info you need to help you make non-subjective accurate decisions on your own projects.

2. Correcting Individual Shots

In Part 2 we'll be covering how to use the Lumetri Panel to correct exposure and colour balance issues in individual shots. This includes white balance issues, over exposure and re-composing shots.

3. Creating a look for your projects

Finally in part 3 we'll use the creative aspects of the lumetri panel and other effects in Premiere Pro to create a stylised look to your project. This is where you can express your creativity to strongly influence the effect your video has on the viewer.

Colourists Jargon

There's quite a few buzz words associated with grading, so we'll spend some time going over those so you'll have the foundations you need to do the job properly.

Technically, we'll also look at the measurement tools we have to evaluate each shot in a non-subjective way.

Correcting Individual Shots

Correcting white balance and exposure are the 2 most common problems to address on a clip by clip basis. In this part we'll cover the methods we can use in the lumetri panel to get all your shots looking consistent and balanced. We'll also look at using Log settings in the camera and how to restore the footage back to how it was shot originally.
